DevConf offers a one-of-a-kind platform to access the best software developers in South Africa in a way that will feel authentic. DevConf sponsorship packages range in price with a package to suit every budget, and with a variety of extras available as individual purchases or as a discounted add-on, there is a wealth of ways for you to stand out at DevConf.
We have made the process for application very simple.
Go to sponsor.devconf.co.za, select your packages, complete your details and click Submit Request.
We will send you a simple form to complete, so we can get all your details correct.
We will draw up the contract and send it to review. If you have any questions or changes, just let us know, and we can work to make it the best possible contract.
Once signed, we will start to send you any templates for art needed and our wonderful Sponsor Handbook with everything you need to know
Our pre-built packages are provided to give potential sponsors an easy way to access the most common structures for sponsoring; but DevConf has always embraced requests from sponsors for something unique or to fit in their budgets. If you do not see something which fits your needs, please contact us and share your ideas or constraints, and we will work hard to make it a reality for you.
Our standard contract is payment within 7 days of invoicing; but we totally understand this may not always be viable. Just let us know, and we can change the payment terms, delay payment until budgets come through, or even split the payments up.
Need More Time?
We understand that internal processes may take time, and you do not want to lose out on your ideal package. To solve this we allow anyone to reserve a package! And there is no deposit or cost to do so. All you need to do is let us know when you submit the request to sponsor, and we will reserve it for you. If you decide to not take it, just let us know!
Community Sponsors
Do you run a non-profit community or event? Do you want to be part of the DevConf experience with branding, social media and free tickets? At DevConf we feel a broad ecosystem of events and communities is critical for the success of software developers in South Africa. We believe the community package is a way for us to highlight and support other communities in South Africa. The community package is also entirely FREE to qualifying communities.
